A little-known arm of the space program is a dichroic glass-sometimes known as Â'fused glass "used in jewelry, the optical industry and security applications and others.
Dichroic Glass Defined
Dichroic glass comes fusion of the Greek word di-chro, which means two (di) and color (chro) and refers to the ability of certain crystals to display two different colors when viewed from different angles. In other words, if you have a piece of dichroic glass, you see a color that is reflected in color while another is passing.
