How do you go about getting a set of precious stones in a necklace???
I have a friend who gave me a gem that I love and we want it made into a necklace. But where the collars Did you adapt to it or with nothing in it already? I've never seen a necklace you can buy a place for their own gemstone. So any help is appreciated. I thought about just calling a Jewl but wasn't sure. Thought Id try here first, thank you!
First get the value of stone (about – if you are a friend and like a stone anyway – then the real value is not important!) – Not for reasons of mercenaries, but to establish how much to spend on the collar to do justice. If you spend a fortune on the necklace and the stone is of the highest quality, the collar will not be satisfactory. Furthermore, if the stone is very good, inexpensive environment does not do justice. While you can make jewelry yourself, and buy accessories for yourself – can a couple of years to obtain all the necessary knowledge to make quality jewelry. You can take classes (including "adult ed evening classes'). It is a good and a profitable little hobby if you just want a necklace, and then find a "manufacturing jeweler. These people make jewelry: jewelry stores' usually shrinks out this work (some do things like that) and have a profit margin. Look in the yellow pages of your area.
