Do not gloss glass in picture frames to prevent a reflection of a lamp?
I am having trouble wording my question! I'm redecorating. I have a framed picture I want to hang in my dining room. In that area is a hanging pendant light with white globe. The fixture is reflected in the glass work of art making it impossible to see the full image. Right now I have a piece of canvas art without a frame in the area, so no reflections. But I'm getting new furniture and I use the print glass – traditionally framed. It's perfect! My question, I suppose, is whether he had the impression to a frame shop and the glass was replaced by non-glare glass, I give a reflection of the light bulb? Or is that the lack of brightness stop it?
Glare glass is not likely to reduce but not eliminate all reflections. As an artist I must add that I do not shine like glass in my work because that makes some vague details and change the color value. Changing height, if that is an option, could eliminate glare. Many people put their artwork too high. It should be at eye level. Good Luck
